Objectives
The Master training programme is designed to impart an in-depth knowledge of political science to students.

1. Intrinsic attainment targets
- graduates are to have an in-depth and active understanding of the key concepts of political studies (politics, the state, power, political system, democracy, policy, political culture, participation), of the principal politicological theories, of the methods of politicological research and of a number of principal research techniques;
2. Professional attainment targets
- graduates are to be duly capable of formulating issues and to make them researchable, using the theoretical insights into and their practical understanding of the subject matter concerned and of making adequate methodological choices in researching an issue and to do so on a self-dependent basis;
- they are to be able to report, both orally and in writing, on the results of scientific analysis;
- they are to be capable of applying the principal techniques of research on a self-reliant basis;
3. Dispositional attainment targets
- Graduates are to have a critical and conscientious disposition, attesting to intellectual inquisitiveness and intellectual fairness;
- Graduates are expected to be able to approach what are perceived as self-evident and fashionable views and explanations with due reservations.
